LAPD Asks for Help in DTLA Hit-and-Run That Killed Young Mother, Injured 5-Year-Old Daughter
A downtown Los Angeles hit-and-run that left a 24-year-old mother dead and her young daughter injured remains unsolved two months later, and police on Friday asked for help in the crime.
A $50,000 reward is being offered in the Nov. 7, 2016, crash that killed Jacqueline Hernandez, 24.

The vehicle, police said, is a 2015 or 2016 BMW 4 Series, either gray or black in color. The driver of the vehicle was described as an Asian man, possibly in his 40s, who is between 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall.
