Drunken driver plows into LAPD patrol car, 2 officers injured
The two officers were treated and released from a hospital following the crash, which was at 11:25 p.m. Saturday near West Manchester Avenue and South Broadway, said Sgt. Norma Vargas of the LAPD South Traffic Division.
The officers had been conducting a routine drunken driving investigation, the police sergeant said Sunday.
