A driver died early Saturday after his big rig rear-ended another truck and burst into flames, prompting the closure of all northbound lanes of the freeway into afternoon, authorities said.

The other driver suffered injuries described as minor in the crash, officials said.
One person died in a two-semi crash on Saturday, October 4, 2014, when two big rigs collided. The crash occured on the northbound 57 Freeway. The big rigs caught fire when one rear-ended another. Initial reports indicated that two people died, but it appears that Mario Dean of Oxnard was the lone fatality.   What’s different about a truck accident?
