A woman was killed Thursday night after riding her bicycle the wrong way on a Venice street, police said.

“Prior to the collision, the pedestrian was seen riding westbound on Venice against the one-way sign. The pedestrian lost her balance and fell off the bicycle, colliding with the roadway,” he said.

It was reported that she did not have a light on the bike, but on November 27 at 5:10pm it was not dark outside yet.
Baker was riding her bike on a Venice street when she turned the wrong way into a one-way street and collided with a car that was going the right way, driven by Spanish tourist Robert Munoz. She was taken to the hospital before being pronounced dead, and Munoz was not charged in the accident.
