One Struck, Killed While Pushing Stalled Car
Knott Avenue will remain closed between Caballero Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue until after 8 a.m. as officials investigate the collision.
Shortly before 2:30am, a car stalled in the middle lane in the middle of the intersection of Knott Avenue and N. Orangethorpe Avenue. As the driver and passenger got out and started pushing the car out of the intersection, they were hit by a truck, which killed one of them and injured the other. The truck driver properly stopped and communicated with authorities.
