According to Braun, a driver of an Oldsmobile Bravada was heading south in the northbound lanes of El Camino Real. Meanwhile, a Toyota Prius was going north on the same street.

The Coroner has identified 47-year-old San Clemente resident Michael Crane as the victim of the fatal collision which occurred about 4:50 p.m. on North El Camino Real, near Camino San Clemente.
