In addition to being charged with DUI, Long is now facing potential civil liability for the injuries sustained by the four high school cheerleaders in the car Long allegedly crashed into while intoxicated. 
At about 8:15pm, a car containing 4 teenage girls ages 14-17 was rear-ended by a full sized truck driven by Alan Long. Three of the girls have already been treated at local hospitals and released, but one who sustained more serious injuries still remains hospitalized. While Long claims a breathalyzer test showed his BAC to be below the legal limit, officers said he was still showing symptoms of impairment.
