One person was killed and six others were taken to the hospital Sunday in a multiple-vehicle crash on Alta Arden in Sacramento. A man inside the Chrysler was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CHP. A girl inside the Chrysler was taken to UC Davis Medical Center. The other five passengers in the Chrysler were taken to the hospital for minor-to-moderate injuries. The California Highway Patrol said that a silver Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling south on Wyda Way and ran a stop sign, striking a silver Chrysler Town and Country in the intersection.
