Honda driver killed, ending a two-county pursuit of a suspected DUI driver

A driver was killed when a Mercedes Benz driven by a DUI suspect, 29-year-old Sol Eichner, collided with his Honda vehicle. The accident happened on Wednesday night and the identity of the victim is yet to be released. Eichner allegedly ran from the California Highway Patrol officers who tried to pull him over in San Andreas. He was pursued by the police from San Andreas to Stockton where he crashed into the unsuspecting Honda driver. Eichner is now in police custody after a Good Samaritan named Rick Fernandez stopped him from running away.
