The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred about 1:40 p.m. Sunday on southbound Highway 99 at the West Taylor Road off-ramp in Turlock.

The right front of the Lincoln struck Nepomuceno and propelled him into the air. He landed on the asphalt in the center median, the CHP reported. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
