Man in stolen car dies in violent San Bernardino crash
A man reportedly driving a stolen vehicle was killed in a violent crash Friday morning along Mill Street and Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino police said.
“The (Honda) was reported stolen out of Riverside yesterday,” said Lt. Mike Madden, spokesman for the San Bernardino Police Department.
The unidentified driver was traveling south on Waterman Avenue near Mill Street when, for unknown reasons, it crossed over into oncoming traffic, striking a Jeep head-on, officials said. The Honda driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reported just after 7 a.m., according to police.
