2 Dead After Car Crashes Down Embankment on Old Highway 395 Near Fallbrook
The driver was headed southbound on Old Highway 395 and lost control, crashing at the intersection of Old Highway 395 and Reche Road around 2:10 p.m. Sunday, North County Fire spokesperson John Choi said.

According to first responders, Burley was driving in southbound lanes when he attempted to pass other vehicles by crossing into northbound lanes of the two-lane road. Oncoming traffic caused him to swerve back into southbound lanes and lose control.
