"The speed limit is 35 mph but the driver was traveling uphill at an excessive speed as calculated from the damage to the vehicle," he said. "It appears that she lost control as the roadway turned to the left and over-corrected her steering, causing the vehicle to slide sideways into a utility pole."
Michelle Roloff was traveling uphill on a wet road at high speed when she lost control of her car and crashed into a utility pole. She was the only person in the car and died at the scene. No one else was hurt. Authorities do not believe drugs and alcohol were involved.
