Lakeport police arrest two in bicycle hit-and-run

Lakeport police on Wednesday arrested two people in connection with a vehicle hit-and-run incident that seriously injured two bicyclists. David Lent, 28, was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, causing great bodily injury. Bauman on Wednesday was listed in critical condition and Thompson was in serious condition, police said. His mother, Lynda Lent, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime. David Lent is suspected of crashing into the two cyclists, Corey Bauman, 41, of Lakeport, and Nicolas Thompson, 32, of Upper Lake, Tuesday evening near Martin and Bevins streets.
