The incident took place at about 9:20 p.m. Thursday, when Lynch was struck by an Escalade at Redwood Road in north Napa. Witnesses said the driver of the SUV stopped, got out of her vehicle, approached Lynch on the ground, then got back in and drove away.

Although it is unlikely anything will come of the civil case until after the criminal case is complete, Lynch’s daughter, Sienna Lynch, is suing the couple for wrongful death.
