San Jose: Police seeking white pickup suspected in deadly hit-and-run in East San Jose

Police are searching for the driver of a raised, loud-revving pickup that reportedly hit and killed a pedestrian then fled the scene Tuesday morning in East San Jose. Citing witness accounts, police said the suspect vehicle is a raised, white full-sized Ford pickup with tinted windows, black rims, and a loud exhaust. Anyone with information about the case can contact the SJPD traffic investigations unit at 408-277-4654 or leave a tip with Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at 408-947-STOP (7867) or with svcrimestoppers.org. 

Pickup Truck Driver Flees After Fatally Striking Man Walking Near San Jose HighSchool

Investigators determined a pickup truck was traveling north on South White Road when it struck the man. The collision with a pedestrian was reported at 7:04 a.m. near South White Road and Florence Avenue, located two blocks south of James Lick High School. The truck is described as a full-sized white Ford pickup that is raised, has tinted windows and a loud exhaust, according to police. The truck and driver did not stop at the scene and remained at large as of Tuesday morning, police said. San Jose: Pedestrian killed in hit-run accident

SAN JOSE -- San Jose police are searching for the driver of a full size white pick-up truck suspected in hit-and-run killing of a pedestrian Tuesday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the San Jose Police Department's Traffic Investigations Unit at 408-277-4654. The Ford truck is raised, has tinted windows, black rims and a loud exhaust, police said. The man -- who was not immediately identifited -- was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the truck was traveling northbound on White Road near Florence Avenue when it hit the man and kept going at about 7 a.m.
