San Jose: Three injured in crash on rain-slicked Highway 87

The crash was reported at 12:37 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the Park Avenue offramp and involved a red Mazda Miata, white van and a Waste Management disposal truck, Officer Ross Lee said. The Miata overturned in the collision, and the woman driving had complaints of pain, Lee said. The driver of the van, also a woman, made a similar complaint while another woman riding in the van suffered a broken leg.
