San Jose: One killed, one hurt in wrong-way driver crash on Highway 101

SAN JOSE -- One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver along northbound Highway 101 in San Jose on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 8:30 p.m. near the Capitol Expressway off-ramp, and at least one person was confirmed dead, according to officials. As a result of the crash, all lanes have been blocked and traffic has been diverted to the Blossom Hill Road exit. Little else on the crash was immediately available.
