Jorge Cuellar Guevara and Manuel Guevara Cartagena killed, and Steve Hibdon, 57, injured in two-vehicle crash on Alum Rock Avenue in San Jose, California

SAN JOSE -- Two 18-year-old men were killed late Thursday night in a suspected DUI crash on Alum Rock Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the CHP, San Jose area office at 408-467-5400. At about 10:38 p.m., the Camry drifted into the eastbound lane and crashed into a 2000 Toyota Tundra, driven by a 57-year-old San Jose man. Two juvenile female passengers riding inside the Camry got out of the car and fled the scene, according to the CHP. The two men inside the Camry died at the scene. The CHP did not release the names of the men, who are from San Francisco and Woodbridge, VA. The 18-year-old man from San Francisco was driving a 2001 Toyota Camry westbound on Alum Rock, east of Kirk Avenue, with three passengers inside.

The driver of the Tundra, identified as 57-year-old Steve Hibdon, of San Jose, suffered major injuries in the crash and was transported to the hospital. The female passengers suffered minor injuries in the crash. Following the crash, two of the passengers in the Camry, 15 and 14-year-old females from San Jose, fled the scene with an unknown party, officers said.
