Denver Broncos team bus in minor crash after practice in California

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Denver Broncos team bus was in a minor accident on the way back to the hotel from practice at Stanford University Monday afternoon, according to KDVR. There were no injuries and the team made it back to the hotel in Santa Clara without further incident. Denver Broncos bus involved in minor crash on Highway 101

SUNNYVALE -- A Denver Broncos team bus was disabled in a crash Monday that also sent a CHP motorcycle officer to a hospital with minor injuries, CHP and team officials said. The crash occurred about 1:45 p.m. on southbound 101 just north of Highway 237, according to CHP Officer Daniel Hill. One of the buses was disabled as a result of the crash and had to be towed off the highway, according to Hill. "To keep the day interesting, we have a small wreck" outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware posted to Twitter at 1:51 p.m.; he included a photo of a CHP motorcycle lying on its side. He officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital "mostly as a precaution," according to Hill.

Broncos' buses in minor accident in return to hotel from practice

Monday's practice was a walk-through at Stanford in Palo Alto, California, six days before Denver faces the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. The Broncos' team hotel is in Santa Clara, about 30 minutes south of Stanford. DeMarcus Ware tweeted a photo from the scene. It was unclear Monday how the accident happened or what other vehicles, if any, where involved.
