Anthony Mann of Colorado Springs was northbound in a 1998 Honda Civic on Colorado 115 four miles north of Penrose when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup truck. The Honda burst into flames, and Mann was pronounced dead at the scene of the Tuesday night crash. The pickup driver was brought to a hospital with serious injuries, and a passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
