Pueblo man dies in elk vs. van crash on I-25

Troopers say Trujillo was driving a Ford E-250 cargo van when he struck an elk crossing the highway. Troopers say Trujillo was not wearing his seat belt and died as a result of the crash. The van then went off the left side of the road, rolled one-and-a-half times, and came to rest on its roof. A Pueblo driver was killed after hitting an elk. The Colorado State Patrol reports it happened just around 12:30 a.m.
