Denver man killed in rafting accident identified

MOFFAT COUNTY - The Moffat County Coroner released the identity Tuesday of the Denver man who was killed while rafting over the weekend. According to the sheriff's office, Zinter was briefly spotted in the water before he disappeared. People in Zinter's rafting party said his personal flotation device and one shoe popped to the surface where he was last seen. Richard Francis Zinter, 34, and three others were in a raft that flipped in a section of Triplet Falls on the Green River after hitting a rock. Members of the group reported that he appeared to be stuck.
