Motorcyclist Alexis Hein-Nutz, 24, killed in collision with hit-and-run driver at AA Street and Weld County Road 37 in Weld County, Colorado

Local authorities, including CSP, are now searching for the driver of the white van. He was described as a slightly heavyset Latino man in his 40s. He is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He was last seen in a dark blue shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

Law enforcement have identified the man they believe caused the crash as an illegal immigrant who was likely intoxicated, but are still looking for him.

The funeral for Weld County Deputy Alexis Hein-Nutz, who was killed in a hit-and-run crash north of Greeley on Sunday, is set for Saturday morning.
