The crash was reported just before 5 a.m. near Burlington, Colorado State Trooper Josh Lewis said. Two tractor-trailers collided and one of the vehicles caught fire.
1 person killed in semi fire on westbound I-70 on far eastern plains
One person died and one has life-threatening injuries, CSP said. They were in the same semi-tractor trailer.
The driver in the other semi had minor injuries.
