A man was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sheridan Boulevard Saturday evening.
Pedestrian struck, killed at Evans, Sheridan
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. Police reported on Twitter that it was not an hit and run. Police planned to closed the roads and divert traffic around the scene late Saturday as they investigated.

A man was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sheridan Boulevard Saturday evening.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the Denver Police Department tweeted that there had been a car accident involving a vehicle and at pedestrian at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Evans Avenue.
Police said the male victim had been declared dead, and the vehicle that struck him remained on the scene.
