A motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with serious injuries after hitting a vehicle near West High School late Tuesday morning, the Denver Police Department said.

One person, whose age and gender were not released, was riding a motorcycle late in the morning when the collided with car at the intersection of West 10th Avenue and Galapago Street. They were taken to the hospital with a serious leg injury. No further information was released.
