The southbound lanes of College Avenue were closed for about four hours while police investigated the scene of the collision. Taylor was found lying in the southbound lanes of College Avenue near Spring Park Drive at 11:32 p.m., according to Jurkofsky. At this time, no vehicle information is available. George Taylor, 53, of Fort Collins, was taken to Medical Center of the Rockies with serious injuries, according to a news release by officer Drew Jurkofsky, spokesman for the Fort Collins Police Department.
