FORT LUPTON, Colo. (CBS4)'€“ Two people riding a motorcycle were killed on Friday after after they crashed into a semi on Highway 85. It happened at Hwy. 85 and Weld County Road 18 in Fort Lupton. Officers said the motorcycle slid in front of the truck, went underneath and ruptured the motorcycle'€™s fuel tank. Both the motorcycle and the semi were involved in an explosion. The man and woman on the motorcycle were killed, the semi driver survived.

WELD COUNTY - Two people were killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and a semi truck. The fire burned the engine compartment and the cab compartment of the truck, but the driver was not hurt. After hitting the wheel, the motorcycle went underneath the semi and caught fire. A man and a woman who were on the motorcycle were both killed. Friday a motorcycle was traveling north on US 85 at a high rate of speed when it hit the wheel of a semi who was crossing the highway at Weld County Road 18.
