CSP suspects drunk driver caused crash that killed two on motorcycle

Brian Lehner, 58, of Parker, and his passenger, Jacquie Lehner, were riding a 2014 maroon Harley Davidson, in the northbound lane. Joseph Bartoletti, 28, of Colorado Springs, was also riding a 2016 gray Harley, in the lane. Athina L. Munoz, 27, of Parker, was southbound behind the wheel of a 1997 green Honda Accord, when the vehicle drifted across the road and struck both motorcycles, the CSP said.

Munoz faces allegations of vehicular homicide, DUI, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or both, and failing to present proof of insurance. Munoz has an arrest record that includes domestic violence and child abuse, negligence.

Woman who killed 2 bikers to be sentenced

A 28-year-old woman who admitted to texting, drinking and smoking pot prior to killing two bikers is being sentenced Friday in Douglas County court.
