After serious crash, I-70 open again in both directions at Genesee
Police made the call to close I-70 in both directions just before 3 p.m. after a pileup involved multiple cars. Cameras show vehicles stopped on both sides of the road.
The interstate was closed to clear space for a helicopter to land to evacuate four people with injuries.

The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. at mile marker 253 just west of the Genesee Interchange. Colorado State Patrol says a Ford F-250 traveling eastbound lost control when its front tire blew.
