Girl, 8, struck and killed while riding her bike in Longmont
He said the girl and her stepfather were riding their bicycles westbound on 17th Avenue when she was struck at the intersection at Alpine Street. The driver had been northbound on Alpine Street and was preparing to make a right turn when the crash happened.

"That's going to be pending a lot of work," deputy police chief Jeff Satur said. "We want to make sure we have our investigation complete before any decisions are made on charges."
