State police say the driver that struck Dube fled the scene.

Police on the lookout for pickup truck involved in Barkhamsted hit-and-run crash with motor scooter
The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash left the scene prior to police and EMS arrival. Police said that vehicle was possibly a 2012-2015 magnetic gray Toyota Tacoma with front end, front bumper and/or passenger side damage.
Police are asking anyone who has information regarding the crash to contact them at 860-626-1840 or to text TIP711 with the info to 236748.
