13-year-old driver killed, passenger hurt in Hartford crash
Police say the accident happened near 555 Windsor Street. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The Hartford Courant is reporting the driver was 13-year-old boy. The passenger was originally taken to St. Francis Hospital by a private vehicle before being transferred to the burn unit at Bridgeport Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown, but Deputy Chief Brian Foley says the 15-year-old was alert and conscious.
