Speed a factor in fatal Bridgeport crash
Av Harris, a Bridgeport police spokesman, said a man in his 60s was driving 100 mph down Main Street at 4:30 a.m. Sunday when he struck a vehicle driven by a Stamford man in his 20s. The older man’s vehicle became airborne, hit a pole and landed upside down, Harris said.
