Police say the force of the impact vaulted Timm into the windshield of the car and then threw him into the roadway.
Carl Timm, 39, of Richardson, Texas, died early Wednesday morning when he attempted to cross a state highway intersection and a car crashed into him, then crashed into an ambulance. The incident occured in Newark, Delaware around 1:00 a.m. on October 15. Timm did not use a crosswalk when crossing, and police believe he may have been drinking. Moses Tamba, 30, who drove the car, did not receive injuries. Those in the ambulance were also uninjured.
