Police are investigating a single-car crash in Brentwood that left a Northwest Washington man dead.
The crash happened Wednesday night around 11 p.m. at the intersection of 38th Street and Rhode Island Avenue. James Kevin Green, 54, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Preliminary investigation reveals Green was driving westbound on 38th Street when he left the roadway and struck a pole. Speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
