Woman killed after hit-&-run crash in front of hospital
The Metropolitan Police Department is asking that anyone who may have seen this crash, the vehicle, or anyone with information is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.

Metropolitan Police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 1300 block of Southern Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday night. At the scene they found a woman had been struck by a vehicle, which had fled the scene. The woman was brought to a hospital, where she later died. Police have not yet released a description of the vehicle. We'll update this post as more information is received.
