Motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV in Collier County

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 20-year-old man was traveling east on Oil Well Road, just east of Immokalee Road, around 6:30 p.m. An SUV driven by a 57-year-old Naples man was traveling west in the left turn lane of Oil Well Road, attempting to turn into a 7-Eleven parking lot. As the SUV began to turn left, the motorcycle collided with its right side.

Hundreds gather for memorial ride to honor Naples man killed in motorcycle crash

Hundreds gathered off Immokalee Road Sunday evening for a ride to remember 20-year-old Bryan Fly who lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Oil Well Road Sunday, Nov. 14.

Fly was set to become a firefighter with the Greater Naples Fire Department where he would have been co-workers with his dad and a fourth-generation firefighter, according to family friends.
