Jet skier dies in crash off Captiva resort
A fatal crash involved a jet skier at South Seas Resort on Captiva Monday night.
An agent from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission said the victim hit a piling around 7:30 p.m.

A friend of Santiago’s family spoke to NBC2 over the phone. They said they are devastated and are flying down from New York to see their son just a day after the crash. They also said Santiago was vacationing with his girlfriend.
