A Gainesville man is dead after crashing into a tree in Alachua County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Ronnie Denham was traveling north on Southeast County Road 325 when his pickup truck drifted onto the right shoulder and crashed into a large tree. He was taken to UF Health Trauma Center where he was later pronounced dead. Troopers say there was no sign of impairment, and the investigation is ongoing.
