At least one person is dead after a crash in Putnam County Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP investigating 2 fatal crashes in Clay, Putnam
The driver, Makayla Sapp of Interlachen, died at the scene and the 17-year-old passenger, Brian Niemic of Interlachen, is at UF Health in Gainesville for treatment of serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol says at least one person id dead following a crash at Birch Street and Oak Crest Drive about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Few details are available at this time; check back for updates.
