The victim, who has not been identified, was airlifted to North Broward Hospital after being struck at the intersection of West McNab Road and North University Drive before 6:20 a.m.

The incident occurred at 6:30 a.m. just west of the intersection of West McNab Road and North University Drive as Stahl walked the dogs on the south side of the street, according to sheriff's office spokeswoman Gina Carter.
