Passenger killed in crash when driver runs red light, troopers say

Troopers said John Dye, 84, of Mims, was driving his Ford Focus west on U.S. 92 when he ran a red light at the intersection at Tomoka Farms Road and was struck by a Dodge pickup truck driven by Bethany Lavallee, 23, of Orlando.

Passenger killed in wreck after vehicle ran red light

According to the report, the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
