Authorities said Benton was speeding when he overtook and collided with the rear of a southbound Hyundai Sonata driven by Alexa Leigh White, 23, of Palm Bay.
The Sonata went off the roadway and struck a tree along the outside shoulder, FHP said.

Killed in the accident were 23-year-old Alexa Leigh White of Palm Bay and a 50-year-old Tucson, Ariz. woman who has not been identified pending notification of next of kin, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Juliette Connally, 50, of Tuscon, Arizona, died at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
Florida Highway Patrol officials had withheld her name until they were able to notify her family.
