Rockledge woman dies after Toy Run motorcycle crash

Breana Donna, 22, was standing at the southwest corner of the intersection of State Road 520 and U.S. 1 with her daughter, Kadence Donna, and her mother, Rockledge resident Tammy Maskrey, 44, watching the ABATE Motorcycle Toy Run when an out-of-control motorcyclist struck the trio about 1 p.m., according to Officer Barbara Matthews, a Cocoa police spokeswoman. Breanna Donna suffered traumatic head injuries and was put into a medical coma, but later passed away from her injuries. Kadence Donna suffered a broken jaw but has since been reunited with her family. Maskrey's leg was broken in the crash; she was treated and released. The motorcycle driver, Gerry Doyle, 58, of Palm Shores, was not injured in the accident.
A yard sale to raise funds for medical bills for the Donna family has been scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 843 Croton Road, Rockledge.
