Orlando man identified as SunRail train strike victim

Shawn Watt, an engineer operating a SunRail train the next morning, at 5:07 a.m., observed the body lying in the middle of the tracks and reported it, the report shows.

Man struck, killed by SunRail in Sanford identified

A man struck and killed by a SunRail train last week in Sanford was identified Thursday by police.
Richard Holley, 55 was struck by the train at approximately 10:10 p.m. The train, driven by Thomas Fortune, struck Holley about 500 yards north of the West State Road 46 overpass and continued north toward the Sanford SunRail platform and onto its final stop for the night in DeBary.
