UPDATE: 1 teen killed, another injured in truck crash on Alf Coleman
The crash happened just south of Back Beach Road on Alf Coleman Road at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night. Katurah Wooden and Isaiah Wooden, both of Panama City Beach, were rushed to the hospital after being struck by a 2008 Chevy Silverado that was being driven by 37-year-old Timothy Jason Sayers, FHP reported. Katurah Wooden initially was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. Isaiah Wooden suffered serious, non-incapacitating injuries in the crash, officers reported. However, Katurah Wooden was pronounced dead from her injuries at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday. FHP reported Sayers, also of Panama City Beach, was driving south on a dimly lit portion of Alf Coleman Road as the teenagers were walking south on the road.
