One Killed, Another Injured in Hamilton County Crash

Florida Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Christopher Tumblin ran a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of County Road 143 and County Road 152 around 11 p.m. Two passengers in the pickup truck were uninjured, according to FHP. Troopers say neither Tumblin nor Penn were wearing seatbelts. JENNINGS, Fla. -- A woman is dead following a Thursday night accident in Hamilton County. Troopers say 31-year-old Lakevia Penn was a passenger in Tumblin's car and was airlifted to Shands Hospital where she later died. Tumblin was taken to South Georgia Medical Center in serious condition.
