Emergency Officials Respond to Accident on Old St. Augustine Road

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Emergency officials are on the scene of a vehicle accident on Old St. An LCSO spokesperson said there were multiple occupants in the vehicle and the vehicle hit a tree. LCSO, Leon County EMS and the Tallahassee Fire Department are at the scene. WCTV is at the scene and will update this story if more information becomes available. Augustine Road near Louvina Drive.

Fatal Car Crash Closes St. Augustine Road Tuesday

The crash accrued near Louvina Drive on St. Augustine in Tallahassee around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. The Leon County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle, carrying 4 people, crashed into a tree. Three people were taken to the hospital and one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the people in the vehicle have not been released.

One Killed, Three Hospitalized in Accident on Old St. Augustine Road

Case ran off the road, onto the right shoulder and overcorrected. The vehicle then traveled across the westbound lane onto the north side of Old Saint Augustine Road and struck a tree. As a result of the crash, 23-year-old James Popewas killed.

that was my uncle he passed away and was very sad i miss him every second of every day
